Kitty Hawk and the Curse of the Yukon Gold
by: Iain Reading
Genre: YA Adventure / Thriller / Mystery
Wow, was this a long book. However, worth every page. I loved the pictures and maps that were in it. It added to the book. If you like adventure and mystery then this is a great book for you to read. It was great for any age. Pull up your armchair Sherlock Holmes, your Amelia Earhart theories, and begin.
Although I wish the print had been about two font sizes bigger, I could understand why it wasn’t. It would have been about a four hundred page book. Sometimes I like long books and sometimes I don’t. This book kinda of fell in the middle. I have never read a book with two prologues before, but with all that was in the book I can see why they were needed. There were actually two parts to this book, not really marked as such, but when you read it you will find them.
What a wild bunch of adventures for a young woman. However, I liked her strong character. She was one that wouldn’t quit, no matter how dire the circumstances. I like books with strong female characters. Thank you for sharing your book with me.
